Artist Statement...

“I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living. It's a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope, which is what I do, and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.” Dr.Seuss

My direction shifts so quickly. Swimming in a sea of ideas, unmatched, mismatched, it feels like I’m drowning. History rewinds: Arizona, Connecticut, New York, and Los Angeles. Colors blur, harsh black lines turn to dots; a light sprinkle of rain. Triangles and squares, thorns on a cactus, pink clouds paint skies. Up and down, in and out, images sharpen then fade. Keys to the past unlock the doors. Dreams are laced with childhood memories. Environmental elements are mashed with pop culture references. Each piece serves as a visual diary.
